Season Coins and the Season Pass

While a season is running, your games earn two things besides pixels: Season XP, which climbs the pass, and Season Coins 🪙. The first season is Sakura Season, which has the full set below.

Season Coins are a separate balance from your pixels 💠, kept per season. You earn them only in games that count for the season:

What happened Coins
You won (the same at any stage) the season’s win amount
Your round was solved or ended unsolved the season’s hosting amount
Your first guess in a game the season’s first-guess amount
A pass reward that pays coins the amount on the tier

Each season sets its own amounts. HARD MODE rounds Nani Pix starts herself pay no hosting coins, just like Season XP. If an admin names a winner for your round after it ended unsolved, you get the difference on top, so you end up with exactly the solved amount, in coins and Season XP alike.

A season can also pay more for some games: in Yōkai Night, haunted rounds, the Night Parade and the boss game multiply the 🪙 (see Haunted rounds).

The pass is a ladder of tiers, reached with Season XP. Every tier has a free reward and, if the season has Premium, a Premium reward on top. A reward is a cosmetic item, 🪙 coins, 💠 pixels, a clue token 🎟 or a charm (an Ofuda 📜 or an Omamori 🧿).

  • Rewards are granted automatically, in order and once each, as your XP reaches a tier. You can keep earning them while a finished season is still closing on its last games, but never after it has ended.
  • Each grant sends you a private message listing what you got. An item you already owned is marked “already yours”.
  • When you finish the free track, the game topic gets a single line about it.

Send /seasonpass to Nani Pix in a private chat (group members only). She shows your Season XP, your tier (n of N), the XP left for the next one, your 🪙 balance and the Premium price if you don’t have it yet, then a table of every tier: its XP, the free reward and the ⭐ Premium reward side by side. ✅ marks the tiers you’ve reached and ⬜ the ones still ahead; the Premium column shows a 🔒 until you buy Premium. Your objectives come after the table, under their own heading.

Premium unlocks the second reward of every tier. Buy it from /seasonpass with the ⭐ Buy Premium button, then confirm; it costs 💠 pixels, at the price the season sets.

  • You can buy it only while the season is running, not once it is closing or over.
  • It is retroactive: every Premium reward for tiers you have already reached arrives at once, and the rest as you reach them.
  • Nani Pix refuses if you already have it, can’t afford it, or the season has no Premium.

Some tiers give a clue token. While you hold one, your next clue in the clue shop is free: it uses the token instead of 💠, whichever clue it is. The shop shows 🎟 where the price would be. If the clue can’t be delivered to you, the token comes back. A clue bought with a token shows 🎟 in the game history. A pass hands out at most two tokens.

Some seasons give charms on the pass or sell them in the shop: the Ofuda, which forgives one wrong guess, and the Omamori, which blocks the next hex cast on you. They go to your /inventory and stay there after the season. See Omikuji and charms.

A season may set objectives: one-time goals that pay Season XP and Season Coins 🪙 when you complete them, such as hosting a few games, winning by a certain stage, guessing in several games, sharing clues, sending tips or playing on different days. Each objective is done once per season and pays once.

  • Only the season’s games count. Hosting, wins, guesses and clue shares in games that belong to the season move your progress; games outside it don’t. Tips count when you give them while the season is running.
  • A win “by stage N” means you won at stage N or earlier. HARD MODE wins don’t count toward it.
  • When you complete one, Nani Pix sends you a private message with its name and reward.
  • /seasonpass lists every objective with your progress (for example 2/5) and its reward. A finished one shows the date you completed it (DD.MM).

You can spend 🪙 before then in the Season Shop. Every leftover 🪙 balance turns into 💠 at the season’s rate (normally 2 🪙 for 1 💠). An odd coin that can’t make a full 💠 is dropped, and every balance ends up at zero. The season’s end post says how many players’ coins became how much 💠, and at what rate.

A pass may also hold the season’s stamp: finishing the free track puts a gold ring on it, and a Premium tier can swap in a golden stamp (see Sakura Season and Your profile).

Seasons also have achievements of their own.
