Omikuji and charms

Yōkai Night has a shrine: draw a fortune slip every day, and carry two charms, the Ofuda 📜 and the Omamori 🧿.

Send /omikuji in the game topic or in a private chat with Nani Pix to draw a slip. You get one a day; the day turns at midnight in the group’s time zone.

Slip Chance What you get
大吉 Daikichi, great blessing 15% 30 🪙 and an Omamori 🧿
吉 Kichi, blessing 30% 15 🪙
小吉 Shōkichi, small blessing 35% 5 🪙
凶 Kyō, a curse 20% a free prank hex on yourself

The slip comes back as a card with your picture.

Kyō puts a Nopperabō or a Chōchin-obake on you for 24 hours, picked at random. It costs nothing, and an Omamori doesn’t stop it. If you’ve opted out of hexes, or already carry one, the spirits pass you by and nothing happens. A kyō that lands is always public: drawn in a private chat, its card goes to the game topic too.

Omikuji only open during a season that has them.

Send /inventory in the game topic or in a private chat to see your clue tokens 🎟, Ofuda 📜 and Omamori 🧿. Charms don’t expire: what you don’t use stays with you for the next season that has them.

Charm Where it comes from
📜 Ofuda The Season Shop, 20 🪙, up to 8 per player
🧿 Omamori The pass, tier 7; a Daikichi slip

An Ofuda forgives one wrong guess: the miss doesn’t count toward the stage’s wrong-guess limit, so it can’t move the round on to the next stage or end it.

  1. During a round, open /shop in a private chat with Nani Pix and tap 📜 Arm an Ofuda. Arming is private; the topic sees nothing.
  2. Your next wrong guess in that round is forgiven. The Ofuda burns away and the topic gets a card saying that miss didn’t count.
  • An armed Ofuda is used up only when it forgives a miss. If the round ends first, you keep it.
  • One armed at a time, and only for the round that’s running.
  • You can arm one only while a season that has Ofuda is on, like Yōkai Night. Outside one, the button isn’t shown and your Ofuda wait in /inventory. One you armed before the season ended still works in that round.
  • It doesn’t work in HARD MODE rounds, or in your own round, since you can’t guess there.
  • A forgiven miss is still a guess: it earns what any miss earns, and it still sets off a Kitsune hex.

An Omamori is never armed: just hold one and it blocks the next hex someone casts on you. See Blocking a hex.
